Arsenal host Wigan this weekend. Two different classes will be present at this match. 1st placed Arsenal against 19th relegation battlers, Wigan.

Arsenal have really shown improvement this year, their young players have come of age, and together with the few experienced players, have formed a formidable lineup. They are sitting in 1st place and should easily beat wigan on the weekend, however the odds on hd2hd are not acceptable.

Arsenal have kept 3/6 cleansheets at home this year. Not the best on paper, however the ones they didnt manage to keep out were games with high flying porstsmouth, man utd and fulham which was the first game of the season.

They have been a more improved defensive side this year, however have leaked the odd goal of late. With their defensive line up in full force they should be able to keep wigan out. Wigan are very poor. They have scored the 2nd least amount of goals this season behind derby. The good sign for this bet is that they really struggle against top sides. They didnt score any game against Tottenham(away), Chelsea(at home), Portsmouth(at home), Man Utd(away), Liverpool(at home), or Newcastle(away).

Wigan's best striker, Heskey is out for the game.

Arsenal with a full defensive lineup(except Senderos) should be able to keep out poor wigan. The battle between Lehmann and Almunia will also ensure that whoever is between the posts will put in 100%. Take either team not to score.
